Buffalo Olmsted Parks Conservancy to Host its Annual Job Fair at the Parkside Lodge

Buffalo, NY – The Buffalo Olmsted Parks Conservancy is excited to announce its third annual job fair to fill a variety of seasonal positions in the beautiful Olmsted Parks system. The job fair will be held at the Parkside Lodge in Delaware Park, 84 Parkside Ave, Buffalo, NY 14214, on Wednesday, March 19, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM and 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM, and again on Saturday, March 29, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM.

The Conservancy is seeking qualified, enthusiastic individuals to fill the following seasonal positions:

  • Seasonal Horticulture Maintenance Worker
  • Seasonal Park Maintenance Worker
  • Seasonal Assistant Volunteer Coordinator

These positions offer an excellent opportunity to work outdoors and contribute to sustaining Buffalo’s historic Olmsted Park system, which plays a vital role in the community’s quality of life.

Interested applicants are encouraged to attend the job fair, where they can learn more about the available positions, meet the Conservancy’s team, and apply in-person. Representatives will be available to answer questions and provide insight into the job requirements and expectations. Registration is not required to attend the event.

Buffalo Olmsted Parks Conservancy Seeks Food Operators for Parkside Lodge Café and Cazenovia Park Golf Course Concessions

Buffalo, NY – The Buffalo Olmsted Parks Conservancy is seeking experienced and passionate food operators to run concessions at two of Buffalo’s most iconic park locations: the Parkside Lodge Café in Delaware Park and the Cazenovia Park Golf Course Concessions. The Conservancy is looking for innovative, customer-oriented vendors to enhance the visitor experience at these historic public spaces.

As part of its ongoing commitment to preserving and enhancing Buffalo’s Olmsted-designed parks, the Conservancy is offering opportunities for food vendors to operate at these prime locations. The Parkside Lodge Café, nestled in the heart of Delaware Park, serves as a gathering place for park visitors and golfers, offering a beautiful setting for casual dining. Similarly, the Cazenovia Park Golf Course Concessions will provide a refreshing dining experience for golf enthusiasts and parkgoers alike.

Key Details:

  • Parkside Lodge Café: Located at the Parkside entrance to Delaware Park, this location draws visitors from near and far, with ample foot traffic and beautiful scenic views. The space is ideal for a café-style operation offering light bites, coffee, and beverages. (84 Parkside Ave, Buffalo, NY 14214)
  • Cazenovia Park Golf Course Concessions: Situated within the historic Cazenovia Park in South Buffalo, this location is perfect for providing golfers and visitors with quick, delicious food options. This concession offers a unique opportunity to serve a community of sports and outdoor lovers. (1 Willink Ave, Buffalo, NY 14210)

The Buffalo Olmsted Parks Conservancy invites proposals from food operators with experience in food service, event catering, and park concessions. Vendors should be committed to quality, sustainability, and excellent customer service. The selected operators will help bring fresh and exciting menu options to the thousands of park visitors.

Requirements for Applicants:

  • Proven experience in food service, event catering, or park concessions.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain operational independence and uphold high standards of cleanliness.
  • Strong customer service and community engagement skills.

Interested food operators are encouraged to submit their proposals, including a description of their business, proposed menu offerings, projected revenue and relevant experience, by March 21.
